I wrote a sonnet.

An Ode to A Man's Best Bonnet.

One autumn’s evening, in my hut
I had an idea which stirred my gut
Upon contemplation, I decided that --
That I would seek out my favorite hat

The hatter’s shop I did first try,
But the selection of hats did make me cry.
Not a one would I well have died in,
Not even a fine bowler could I have pride in.

After this failed and sad attempt
I did visit a store so very unkempt.
Inside I found one for but thirty bob,
A shiny top-hat would do a sterling job.

In retrospect, and upon deciding,
I find my true favorite is still in hiding.

[It doesn't have Shakespearean rhyme sets, but it does meet the requirements for a sonnet.]
Bye.

Productivity.

Productivity is one of those things which are completely contradictory. When you have nothing to post you reach for something, but when you get it and you forget or have no time to post. Which is contradictory to the main theme of posting on what you didn't have until you searched for it. Yes this is confusing and mostly inadequately explained, but that doesn't stop me from thinking about it or posting it. Any way, below is my post.

This is the second of my videos, which I forgot that I hadn't posted.

Thanks! More later!

Brick films...

Hi! I am back from the exact place I was the last time I posted, which was who knows when.

I have a new obsession to share with the viewers who put up with me. and that is Brickfilms. Brick films are stop-animation films, using LEGO as characters, sets and props. If you are creative, you can re-make any movie you have ever watched, though, you may need some rather specific pieces to accomplish it. Any way, most BF-ers make there own stories which are most likely very custom to their supply. Below is my first one. :), don't be surprised.

There is also another one, but for now, be curious and look at this.
Bye!

Glass

I haven't blogged in a while, no reason, but I do have pictures.
I have recently acquired a fog light glass dome. This makes for very interesting pictures, and I took these out of inspiration.

^I like this one best.

Thanks for reading!

My copper ring...

So I made this ring a couple days ago and took pictures today.

I based it on the Avatar arrows (they actually are wind nomad tattoos) and at first they were going to touch at the middle, but it was to big and the exposed edges were sharp and dangerous. So I angled them to how they are in the picture and they make a more contentious circle, with only slight obstruction, sort of like life. (oh, how deep!)

I thought the shadow was cool.

For those who know what I'm talking about, I potted the Violets.

Thanks for reading! have a Quinntastic day!(do you think I should say that?)

so this is a bit of something I wrote 5

This is like from last year.

The Ink back warhead is a dangerous Dragon to have around the house, like most Dragons. But the Ink-back, is so deadly that it is actually rather unknown, there is only one wizard who was lucky enough to actually survive a sighting of the Warhead and take an egg that was thought to be destroyed. with there scarcity and angry disposition, only one known Knight has been able to effectively slay one. (without dieing in the process.) Although human encounters are rare and wizard/Dragonologist more so. the A.D.W.A.K. (Association of Dragonologists, Wizards, and Knights.) have formed a rough picture formed of survived and non-survived sightings of the Ink-back Warhead. BE WARNED, this Dragon is very dangerous, enough for two dragons and protects it's young far after they have grown, and keep extensive family relations. Find one... Nope, fifty. If sighted consider your self lucky and in danger. If you see an Ink-back, run and get a camera and a Dragonologist, tell him where to look and hide.

Thanks for reading this!

What is MLN?

Well... it is best described by itself. Which can't be done, so, first, it stands for... My Lego Network,
go there! Here is my page, it takes a while to explain but this will help. Just comment here if you have questions. One, you have to have a totally free Lego account, which I KNOW is free and completely safe, I've had one for like six years. Then you click somewhere to go to M.L.N. and make a very fun start in Mlning. You can: grow bricks, make friends, (through very impersonal means) and build your Masterpieces, gain ranks up to tenth at the present, and soooooo much more. So just go get an account!
Visit me at my page, search qddp, and comment here what your user name is, I'll accept your friends request. This is not for the faint-harted , or those with slow internet, and lack of flash player, and time in life.
Or you could suggest this for your relatives with more time and computer access.

Please try this, thanks
qddp.

so this is a bit of something I wrote 3

here is the Second installment! oops, I didn't say that!

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was a wine bottle. I blinked rapidly to clear the haze from my vision. I now read that it was a bottle of Talus: Shiraz. I took my arm out from under the covers and reached for the wine, there were two glasses next to the bottle, one had the pink traces of being recently used, some one had visited while I slept, and brought this wine. I thought I had a hold on the bottle but it disappeared out of my hand when I lifted. "Ugh" I gritted my teeth and rolled over in bed, I hit the floor with a thump, my field of vision was really messed up. I groaned again and picked my self up onto my knees. I reached for the wine again, and caught a glass instead, I tried to pick it up and accidentally smashed it on the table. now I had glass shards in my clothes and down my sleeves. The guards must think I'm retarded by now. I went at the Talus again and managed to get a hold of it. It had been opened before but the cork had been replaced, fortunately the screw was still in the cork, as nimbly as I could I turned the bottle round to see when it had been made, the date read: 5/32/101009, that meant nothing to me so I grabbed at the cork with my left hand, as soon as I grasped it there was a searing pain shot through my whole left arm, I rolled over on to my back, dropping the prize, and clutching at my hurting arm, my hand had seized up and pulled the cork free from the bottle. Wine splashed across the concrete floor, staining my clothes. The pain had gone and I was still holding the cork and screw. I wished I was in a better state, that I could pick the lock and get rid of the guards outside. There was still wine in the bottle and my vision was improving, I decided to risk spilling the rest and make a stab at getting the wine, I got I the neck of the bottle, and downed it. After the wine there was a note, it was written on a small piece of water proofed leather: It read...

so this is a bit of something I wrote 2

A field, in a jungle, on which an explorer slowly backs away in fear of the looming Monster he faces. the monster's head looks to small for it's car-sized bulk, it's curved beak is the size of the man torso, the curved arch of the monsters spine is lined with possibly sharp, four foot high, leaf shaped spines. The tail that follows is long and terrifyingly studded with arm-long sharp spikes. The much smaller front legs that still reach to the explorers shoulder, make the dinosaur-like creature, lopsided and awkward. The extra long back legs are thick and are at least double in height. All in all, this explorer has found something quite worth searching for, but will he live to tell the tale?

so this is a bit of something I wrote:

100,000 years in the future.
As I set down I realized that I was in a forest of trees thirty feet around, or more, and high as a third class skyscraper. And way up there were houses, the bottoms of the houses were not flat, but rounded, the corners filled by the trees.
Suddenly I noticed a small round doorknob. It was shiny and brass, sticking out of the tree trunk. I walked toward it, examined it and tried use it, as I pulled the door that was so well concealed, opened. Inside I seen first, an elaborate wooden spiral staircase, it was remarkable, made straight out of the living tree itself. Next and last I saw the source of the faint blue light. It came from several hand-sized, light-blue stones, light stones, embedded in the tree. They were smooth and squeaky to the touch, I ventured on, up the stairs, seeing that there was nothing else in this part if the tree. As I climbed I seen more and more light stones, some of which had been slightly obscured by twigs and their leaves, growing where there was light. As I neared the top there were more door knobs, some of which were fake, or locked from without. Nearer to the top I noticed a slight decreasing of the walls. At the top there were two doors, one was locked, the other was slightly ajar, I reached forward and cautiously pushed it open wider, beyond, there was a bridge, it was very high, and I wondered at the agility of the people who lived in this time, for there were no railings. only a slightly arched path was laid before me, the bridge was made from the branches of the two trees, the one I stood on, and the one I wished to cross to. the only safety precaution were flat boards, which were made of wood, and lashed down with vines. I carefully crossed and found my self looking at... Myself. There was a large sheet of glass, standing straight up and baring my way, but then I seen a knob, I pulled at it, the "door" opened. inside, was...
