The Title that tells of my NanoWrimo Failure.

Failure. That is the result of this years NaNoWriMo. I have, right now, 5003 words. But as my Goal was 40,000... I don't think I'll make it by tomorrow. (I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of November.) Anyway, I have another car, and a wish-list.

This looks a lot like a Mini Cooper, so you could say that it's based on it. The truth is that I just drew it, and that is how it turned out, so what ever.

And My Wish-list for Christmas is:

~Behemoth, the probably amazing sequel to the amazing Leviathan.
~An iPod... yes.
~Civilization 4 for mac.
And I can't think of anything else... :(
I personally think Christmas is getting silly. But I won't go on about it or I will regret my words. It just makes me exasperated. Well, actually, everything does... so I just get over it.

Anyway, I hope you liked my drawings, I only have a few more, then I will have pictures of a couple of Lego's I put together.

Bye.

Th post inwhich several unrelated subjects are breifly discussed.

Hello, it's time for the irregularly spaced post of my blog! I have three things to say.

1. I have at present (subject to immediate and sudden drastic change) 3,418 words written in my NaNoWriMo story, and i have reached the grand total of: Near the end of the third chapter.

2. I just (today) finished making my first Lego plane. It will have pictures going up. I haven't taken them though, so not yet. I was inspired by the masterful plane-making skills of Flickr user JohnHall18 (really cool stuff.) My plane isn't nearly as good as any of his. T.T but I will make another.

3. Today's Car Picture is: "The Kabuto" Concept Car.

Thanks! Bye.

The title that dosn't give away what is represents.

Hello again. I should be writing my NaNoWriMo story, but thought I might share with you some stuff. Not all of which is remotely worth it.

First: I have written so far, 7 hundred and an unknown amount of words, (this is unknown because it will change very soon, and may in fact increase while I am writing this post.)
Second: My next car picture to share... which is again not quite a car...

Third: My story snippet. Which is: “Yes indeed,” said English, distractedly. He was busy checking his false mustache in the mirror. “Tell me what you think of this mustache, Ashley.”
“Yes sir,” said Ashley...
...“I like it very much, sir,” said Ashley. Nodding approvingly. “Tea or coffee, sir?” He said, completely changing the subject.
“Coffee, said, English, and walked out of the room.

That is all of my stuff... I couldn't think of anything else. Bye.

NaNoWriMo. And Cars.

Hello. Anyone. As you know, today is the first day of November. That means that NaNoWriMo is up and running, but it also brings a reason for me to post... hehe. As I write, I will pick bits of my story and post it, along with a picture which I drew. Not a picture depicting the scene I wrote about, but a concept car picture, which I drew. (two of which I painted.) Most of these were drawn in October, some in September... but I will show them to you in Novvember. The second "v" is purposeful, because this month is also Host to Vic Viper building Month. If you (understandably) don't know what I Vic Viper is... click the link on the first mention of Vic Vipers. *dies from overload* okay... first... things first... *goes to edit car pics* *comes back.*
Here is the first one. Yes, it's not actually a car. but it has a little story, it goes like this. When I scanned it, it was sideways, so I had to put it through iPhoto... it went crazy... and I ended up with these, which were randomly created through means mysterious to me. I happen to like them though... Heh heh. So the top one it the original, and the lower three are the inspired creations of iPhoto...

Now for my story bit. Since it is only the first day of November, I can only give you the very beginning of my story. Voila!~

Chapter One.

A dark clothed man silently slipped up the building, his form and shadow consumed by the surrounding shadows of the buildings contours. With one hand the shadow wrapped figure clung to the building and with the other, he put a small thin tool into the window lock catch, and jerked it, the window unlocked and the Man swooped quickly into the building through the now open window.

That's all for today. Check back soon for more Cars, story and other stuff...

Bye!

nanowrimo anxiety

NaNoWriMo is an extremely hard to accomplish hobby. I have Three thousand words, seven thousand to go and ten days to write them. Plus my book won't actually fit into ten thousand words so I will have to write the rest after November. Also, I have to go camping tomorrow and that will take up another one and a half days, plus my family is coming over to stay for three days to thanksgiving which is another day as well, so I really only have 5 days to write 7000 words which comes out to 1,400 words a day. Scary! Bye gotta write! Anxiety...

NaNoWriMo! it's back!

Hello. I haven't blogged in so long... I'm so bad... well, NaNoWriMo is come again, it is almost November, my story word goal is 10,000 this year.

I don't think I will post any parts and subject you to the torture, but I should do something, hm. Oh well, dreams die... Which is really a very odd thing to say, since none of my dreams died, therefore the statement was irrelevant. But so is everything else I say. I want to learn Ken-do, or fencing. it would be cool. Told you! see you L-A-T-E-R.

Chapter three!!!

OMG!

here!
be sure to check a box at the bottom!

Chapter three

Joe woke at the very large gust of wind. When he opened his eyes which seemed very important to his simi-conscience mind, he seen Charlie holding his copy of: “The Practical Orphans Guide to Being Satisfied With What You Have, Whatever It Is You Get.” and dangling out the window, Joe became aware that this looked like suicide and leaped out of bed rushing toward his cousin,”Charlie don’t!” Charlie looked back his face was red and angry, “Joe, you made me miss the garbage truck!” Said charlie furiously.
“You were ‘angin’ out the window like a suicidal trapeze artist, and the suicidal part is the important word of the situation here!”
“I had to hang out, the garbage trucks have really big mirrors so they stick out from the walls.”
“Oh, you couldn’t just stick your stupid book in the paper recycle and not risk your life out a window. How did you even get the window open?”
“Know-how. Sorry I scared you Joe.”
“Apology excepted, Charlie. Do they even have breakfast out yet?”
This was a good question, from the lights outside, Charlie would have said 6:30, from the clock on the wall, Joe would have said 5:15.
Accordingly, they returned to their beds and slept until 10:30 when they received a sharp rap on the heads. Charlie and Joe were soon at the breakfast table eating sausage and biscuits with gravy that was sort of cold and pumpernickel toast with butter that was hard again and the last of the scrambled eggs with cheese, which also was hard.
Having overslept then eaten, they had missed an entire class and now were now on time for the next with no need to share the facts with the teachers. Joe headed to writing and Charlie went to Germany, as they laughed about in class.
They were still listening to Einsam and Charlie was increasingly feeling lonely of a family.
“Hello Nevery, did I get all of the answers right? The last few were tricky.”
“you got most of them right, Charles, but Why did you sleep till ten thirty?”
“I woke up really early and couldn’t get back to sleep until... Three sssomething. By then I was really tired and had to get some sleep.”
“How, early? Some students thought that they heard voices from your end of the hall.”
Charlie thought of Joe yelling like a baboon,”What time? I was up at like... 3:30, or so.”
“ I see, they said like, 5:00, something about suicide, most have been dreaming.”
The class wore on and soon they heard the lunch bell, and they scrambled as usual.
“I thought that would never end, no one got hit though.” said another boy named Volago Checkeroghe, who was from Denmark, and had been traveling with his parents when they had an accident that had killed his parents. The people that had found him next to his parents bodies had tried to send Volago back to Denmark, but found that he had no family there anymore ether. This was a joked about mystery, many children thought that his family were all murdered and that he was the son of a Danish rebel forces leader, who strived to make denmark a better place. This all pleased Volago, and the Danish orphan was very strong-headed about danish rebellion news, in the papers.
“Well, I never knew a new language could be so boring!” said Volago.
“Well, it’s not that it’s boring, it’s just, lame...” this was Conroy, who thought that every thing was lame, everyone else didn’t know what lame meant.
“Conroy, sush, German is a important part of our curriculum, you should be grateful that we are learning such a useful language.”this was Vince Applegate, the boy who thought he still had family but had runaway from them and lived in the orphanage on the pretense of not having parents, or any other family. He was one of those people whose last names stuck and it was an effort to say just his first name.he also never swore. It was also rumored that he was from Manchester.
“Not likely.” said Charlie. Siting down with the others at the lunch table and turning to Joe who was already there. “Any news?” Joe was in a writing class that taught through the papers, this often led to his knowing quite a lot about the goings on throughout Britain and sometimes farther out countries and their politics.
“Not much, Money Mansion Mr. Cillroy’s lawsuit is over, verdict is for him.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. The judges were quite against it, they were being unfair though, they brought in a judge that hadn’t been ‘swindled’ and he ruled for him.”
“That’s idiotic, how ridiculous, they judged wrong because they thought they had been scraped!”
“Seems so.”
How the rest of the day was spent was the same as the rest of other days.

Thanks!!!!

Chapter two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next.
Chapter two.

5 months later.

Charlie yawned, rubbed his eyes, and got hit on the head by his teacher. His teacher was a frenchmen called Nevery Cloghch, who carried a small, wooden ladle, that he used to make his classes more “interesting” for his students.
“Stey awake, or fail.” yelled Nevery, emphasizing the blow. Stay awake, or fail to stay awake, was what the class said. Nevery taught German, and they often where forced to listen to German play recordings. These were what were so boring, the plays themselves were entertaining, but they were in german and had to be translated.
Another student and orphan snickered, not unkindly, this was Gregory Thiss, his story was that his parents had been killed in a fire that he only just escaped, he had a rare medical ailment of his pupils not being able to contract, this seemed to have saved him from the fire, through being awaken by the blinding light, he then jumped out of the window, almost got run over by the fire brigades’ trucks, and now lived in the WHO, Water House Orphanage.
“What are you laughing at Gregory?” asked Nevery. Gregory shifted slightly, toward the window, at some point every student had been hit, none meant to get hit again, they just did.
Charlie rubbed his head, stood up and wrote on the black board, schließen Sie aber zu weit. Which meant, close but to far. Nevery laughed and strode up to the teachers desk, motioned for Charlie to return to his seat.
“now that that embarrassing show of apparent boredom is over with, we will return to the Ton des Spiels, and we shall pay more attention this time around.”
The class muttered apologies and agreements to this thought.
The play they were translating was called “Einsam” about a man that seemed to think that marriage was stupid and ended up very lonely and that giving it it’s name, the real play was about the man finding this girl that he had met before and had accidently “run off” and persuading her that he really liked her.
Charlie liked it, but it was really dramatic and slow, nevery was practically singing along with the opera, for it was also a musical.
Charlie was good at German and the plays test was rather easy for him, at the end of the day they consulted their textbooks and translated the play into english for an assignment.
The bell rang and they scrambled for lunch. There Charlie and Joe met and talked in a confusing jumble of different languages until they actually had something to say.
“That money mansion is being persecuted for fraud, they say that there is no money, the papers said that this mister Cillroy said that there assumption was correct. The PIs are furious that they spent two months looking for something that wasn’t there, they want a refund for there expenses, thats laughable, they voluntarily looked for riches and were fooled out of there own. Now they want both.”
“Well, they aren’t getting either of them are they?”
“nope, have you heard that the market is selling firecrackers again? Harry wants to set something on fire or blow something up so bad...”
“Are we going to get some?”
“Can’t, Jenra wont let us, says that we’ll hurt ourselves, we didn’t last time though.”
After lunch they resumed classes until dinner, after which they followed their own pursuits.

why I haven't been posting...

Aka... NaNoWriMo....
National...
Novel...
Writing...
Month...

OMG!!!

Yes I am writing a novel!
It's called Einsam...
that's German...
I will be posting the chapters as written.
there is only one so far, this does not mean that I do not have more.
ha ha.

here.

Loneliness can easily be conquered by a lack of animosity toward those around you. Even in your present surroundings. And a family must be formed of love, not blood.

Chapter one

“Lack of animosity, huh, I’m still lonely.” Charlie looked back at Joe, his now sleeping cousin. Charlie was reading “the Practical Orphans Guide to Being Satisfied With What You Have, Whatever It Is You Get.” It was a morbid, lying book that most other orphans didn’t really understand, but were led to treat like a bible.
The orphanage was a good place, but the orphanage had no written “The Practical Orphan’s Guide T-,” if they had, Charlie was sure of two things; the book would not have such a long name, and that it would be a very nice book.
Now, in this room, in which our scene takes place, aside the mentioned, Charlie, the twelve-year-old protagonist of our minds-eye, Joe, cousin of our protagonist and supporting character, and the foully thought-of book that for some reason Charlie has read many, many times, there are a set of bunk beds in which the prone figure of Joe resides. There is a built-in wardrobe for both Charlie and Joe’s clothes. There is a poster in the door of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous flying machine design, and several dirty socks on the floor next to the wardrobe. Now that we are acquainted with our surroundings, we see that Joe has woken up.
“Charlie, you should be sleeping while you can, it’s Sunday as you full well know.”
Joe’s slight Scottish accent was in contrast to Charlie’s straight-forward British tones.
“I know I should, Joe, it’s just, I’d like to...”
“Every kid here would, Charlie, but you’re allowed to sleep at home, too, most likely. Now you’ve gone and woke me up. Oh well, best get on with tha day.”
“Sorry, Joe.”
“Breakfast.”
Charlie started for the door, as he did so, he started a new conversation, something stupid about Conroy, another boy at the orphanage.
Minutes later on the steps the subject turned to sayings,. Charlie an Joe were having a competition on who could think of the most sayings first. Charlie had 15 and Joe had 13.
“Curiosity is worth a million dollars! like Grampa said all the time.”
“thas 16 to you, what on earth is with you? do you just memorize sayings?”
This brought them to the second landing, where there was a young boy called, Harry Willow.
Harry Willow was seven and pretended to be a seven hundred year old warlock called Gora Mordack, he was actually rather fun to play with, he seemed to always to know some new trick they could use in their games, and he had designed the Great Wooden Sword, he also had a secret language.
Right now, he was in no mood for games. On his way down the next flight of steps he started mumbling about trips and Conroy.
“What did you say? what trip?” asked Charlie. Harry looked up at them.
“You, get to go to the old mans house and look for a million bucks.” he said.
“million bucks?” said Joe.
“Yah, you two, and Conroy, Spike, Pepper, and Vince Applegate get to go to a big mansion. who ever finds the money gets to keep it. You don’t even know about it.”
“Fancy that,” said Joe “I could buy a street with that, then toll it.”
“Joe! thats mean! I’d buy a library with it.”
“You won’t find it,” said Harry childishly, “There has been a thousand PIs though there, the whole place has been but torn apart.”
“Well aren’t we jealous.” said Joe, this was rude, since it was so obvious, but Harry was so rude himself so that it wasn’t a total bash.
They continued down the steps and soon at the breakfast table they were.
Promptly they were ambushed as usual by the headmistresses daughter, Nova. It was her style to ambush the children and she was the grand-daughter of the Headmistress that had accepted Charlie and Joe into the orphanage. She was twenty-two, and had no children, nor was she married.
“Oi, you got the pick to go to Mr. Cillroy’s mysterious money mansion,-”
“We know, Harry told us, he’s not very happy he con’t geo.” Said Charlie cutting her off.
“Oh, I thought, I could surprise yah, ow well.”
There was another accent, to add to the over-flowing pot of culture in the orphanage, they had higher-class British, lower-class British or cockney, Hartsfordshire swank, Scottish, and Irish.
“Harry said that Spike was going too? Is that okay?”
Spike was the amnesiac that had parents, but who could not remember any thing in detail after two weeks. This was very sad for him and Joe had become his best friend.
“Yah, heal be okay, long as Joe’s wid’em, You wont mind that Joe will you?”
“Nah, It’ll be fine.”
“Good.”
Nova turned on her heel, and strode away. At first they sat in silence. Then Charlie said;
“She didn’t tell us when we were going. Now we have to ask after breakfast.”
They finished in silence and got up with intent to ask, it turned out that they hadn’t need, for directly after depositing their now washed plates in the drying rack, they heard Nova calling to them, Spike, Vince applegate, and Conroy, to meet in the foyer to discuss what to bring and where to the house.
When they got there which took longer than expected because every body was going to the park and leaving through the foyer/door. Very complicated, as they were in the middle of the crowed, so when they reached the foyer they had to stay there. You may wonder just how big is this orphanage? Well, it has five floors and three dining rooms, curiously, they only ever needed eight cooks half of which weren’t on duty all the time, six teachers, and five general staff like Nova, all and all, oh and the Headmistress making twenty staff all to together.
“All wright, well, it being 10:20, we leave at two o’ clock. We should where aur best clothes, for we will actually see mister Cillroy hemself.”
It was Nova speaking and ti seamed to be her that was leading them to the house, but not sure enough.
“Are you the one thats taking us?” this was Conroy, who always asked if things were as thought, as such.
“Yeh, I’m not missing a chance to find the money.” at this they laughed. As was every one in the orphanage, Nova was very nice. Every one liked her.
They were dismissed, Charlie and Joe left to there rooms to prepare themselves.
“What do you think we should bring?”
“I can’t decide Charlie, I think that a code book would help, then again, we might need a magnifying glass might help.”
“True, this is a treasure hunt, maybe a notebook and pen would do. Who said we could bring only one thing?”
“Your wits are sharp, fifteen for me! No’ne said anything about that, we could bring a whole backpack full of stuff.”
“That is not a saying. Well what should we bring anyway?”
They eventually they decided, and walked down to the foyer where they waited for everybody. This wasn’t a very long wait and slowly they appeared. When Nova got there they discussed the bus they were taking to the house.
Everybody got there and they left, caught the two-fifteen bus and thirty minutes later they pulled up to an enormous wood-sided house that resembled a five story victorian mansion covered in scaffolding and sporting many pointed towers, reminiscent of castles in King Arthur days, it was.
Charlie took a deep breath and accidentally tried to gasp, failing, and breathing out fast, in order to gasp for real.
Joe, whistled, and muttered about how many people should live there and how he could buy it if he found the money.
Nova stood struck, Conroy, didn’t seem perturbed, Vince stared open mouthed, and Spike, had fallen asleep, during the ride and had not woke up yet, the driver had been hired for taking all of the orphans to the house before, was gawking at the house like everybody else.
“wow, we should probably go in.”
They woke up spike and did, trooping out of the bus and down the short decretive stone path to the front steps which led to the door.
Inside, more grand splendor awaited, there was a gianoramus glass and variegated stained-glass shards chandelier hanging from the fifteen-foot ceiling, there was more, but more interesting, was the podium that held the rules of the house.
Charlie walked forward to read it aloud;

This house is NOT the money,
Searchers may not harm the house in any way,
Count out paintings, the chandelier, and other artifacts of material value,
Untoward violation of these rules is obviously not allowed.
Your eyes will not see any money behind cupboards, or walls,
In the attic there is no money,
In the basement there is no money,
Outside there is no money,
Rugs are of no value.

No steeling.
You are being watched by cameras.
Thank you.

Charlie stood back from the podium,
“Well, clear as glass, seventeen.”
“ugh, wull, alls, good, that starts well, wait, thats wrong.”
“You two... Money time.”
They split up looking all through the house.
Joe thought that since there had been thousands of people searching before, that they should look in simi-obvious places, Charlie agreed, but thought that there must be some sort of catch, and that they should just sit down and solve the riddle. But then Joe pointed out that there was no riddle to solve.
Everybody crossed each others paths all ways asking vainly if they had found any clues.
Hours past, they had lunch, then dinner. they finely sat and thought after a riddle. not finding any they eventually, heard the bus coming and gathered up their things and left.

The melancholy way they arrived told the waiting orphans the news but there was still much questioning about the house and even more asking about the money by younger orphans that couldn’t tell or care for such non-worded answers. Nova told them all to go to bed which wasn’t all that unreasonable for it was right on their curfew, being worked out that way. All Charlie and Joe wanted to do was rest, and leave the telling for later. For once, Charlie liked the curfew.

The next day, was extraordinary. the breakfast tables were empty except the enormous knot of silent children listening to the children who went to the house tell about the house and explain their experiences and answer the many but correctly asked, questions. After each child spoke, there was an intense roar of applause.
Spike, who, for some reason, didn’t remember any of it, which, was weird because he usually could up until at least five days, stood in the crowed cheering and listing with everyone else.
Afterward, they eat breakfast, and had their normal classes, and went through their normal day.

to be continued............. in chapter two, and in stores next year!

thanks for reading,
Bet you didn't think it possible of me to write so much.

Bye!
